Position Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Milling Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting full arch fixed dental implant zirconia prosthetics according to dentist specifications and patient needs. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to producing high-quality dental products.
Responsibilities:

Fabricate fixed dental prosthetics which are primarily full contour zirconia dental implant restorations. Occasionally, single and multiple-unit zirconia bridges.

Read and interpret prescriptions, dental impressions, and specifications from dentists to ensure accurate production of dental appliances.

Utilize various dental laboratory equipment, such as Roland milling machines, 3D printers, sintering furnaces, Miyo and Soprano stain and glaze, hand tools, to shape and refine dental prosthetics.

Cut back for zirconia prosthetics

Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and patient expectations.

Collaborate with dentists and other members of the dental team to discuss patient cases and customize prosthetics for optimal fit and function.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental laboratory workspace, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

Stay current with advancements in dental technology and materials to continuously improve skills and techniques.

Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and materials used to produce dental prosthetics.
Compensation
$25 to $35 per hour.
Required Qualifications

Proficiency in dental laboratory techniques, including casting, molding, and model making.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for working with small, delicate materials.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Good communication skills to interact effectively with dentists and other dental professionals.

Certification or licensure as a Dental Technician is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and digital dental technology is preferred.

Strong understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and prosthetic design principles.
